THE BEACH BALL EXPLAINED.
Gene heard God in the little things and in the big ones. In 2020, we went to Cancun, and during that trip a hurricane developed. When we evacuated to a discotheque, I had brought along a beach ball, and as the storm raged outside, we batted it around. Gene and I talked about it later and thought about its deeper meaning: when God gives you a hurricane in life, you find a beach ball and experience joy in the storm. This is by far the greatest storm we have ever faced. But just as God promises, there is joy in the storm, becauise in any storm we face, God is big enough!
